Drive Smart helps Texas teens connect online driver education with local driving instruction. Families in Carrollton, The Colony and nearby communities can choose a full teen program or an online classroom-only option.
Choose the program that fits your family
The current full program includes 24 hours of online classroom instruction, 7 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction and 7 hours of in-car observation. Driving lessons take place in Carrollton. We welcome students from The Colony and across DFW.
The classroom-only option is for families who need online classroom instruction and plan to complete the driving portion separately. Review the course details before enrolling to make sure the option fits your student’s plan.
Plan your road test separately
The current teen course price does not include the road test. This article previously described a free road test offer; families should use the current course and road test information when planning enrollment.
Confirm road test arrangements, documents, availability and fees before scheduling.
